About the Organizer
Kate Swan started Sort & Store Organizing Services, LLC, in order to bring top quality residential and small business organizing services to North/Central New Jersey and the New York City area. In addition to being friendly, empathetic, direct, compassionate, and hard-working, she is passionate about making people's lives easier through organization so they can use their valuable time and energy for the work, play, pets, and people who matter most. Kate follows the National Association of Professional Organizers' Code of Ethics which requires objectivity, confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism.
Prior to starting Sort & Store Organizing Services, LLC, Kate worked most of her life as a musical theatre professional, first as a performer and later as a director, choreographer, dance captain, and production manager/producer. Her experiences with theatre artists around the world make her a terrific collaborator and guide, and her experiences managing the myriad details of a successful musical theatre production make her an outstanding organizer.

Kate can organize any space in your home or small business! While she specializes in storage spaces (garages, basements, attics, sheds, barns), decluttering and packing for real estate showings, identifying valuables and collectibles, unpacking after moves, home office organization, downsizing, and yard sales, she enjoys all organizing projects. The organizational services she provides include recommending and shopping for storage solutions, scheduling haul-aways, taking donations off-site, and handling bulk paper shredding. She offers special packages for small theatre companies and theatre departments that need help with clean-up, identification, sorting, and filing of their assets (props, costumes, scenery, lighting and sound equipment), and she teaches groups how to handle both strikes and new acquisitions moving forward.
